Hi Guys,
I have recently joined a marketing forum and one of the members “Annelise” asked me if i could do a video showing how to make a video and then upload it to You Tube………so here goes.
1. Watch the first video here which i made for Annelise.
2. Now watch this video showing exactly how i put the first video together and the process and tricks i used in Camtasia Studio.
3. Watch this video which shows how you upload your finished video to You Tube
So there you go. I hope you find these videos really useful and they have helped you to learn how you can make your own videos.
I mentioned in the second video that you can get a free trial to Camtasia Studio and you just need to go to the website of the company that produce this at Tech Smith
I also mentioned the forum which i have recently joined called CBA which stands for Cambridge Business Academy and they have a great forum and you can also get some great free training as well
All the Best
Richard

Excellent presentations that were easy to follow.
Could you add one more video on how to use common screen capture programs to only capture the focus window or is that also possible with Camtasia Studio ? Whenever I try to create a video from things I am trying to show on my computer my saved video is jittery whether I save it as an avi file or convert it to a swf file.
And what file format does YouTube prefer to accept for upload ?
One more question: sometimes I wish to produce a video that I do not want to upload to Youtube, even as a private view, but to send via e-mail or to embed it into a web page, streaming from my own server only; what formats are best for this ?

Hi Bartholomew, yes Camtasia can also capture just the focus window bu using something called Zoom and Pan which alloews you to concentrate on just a small portion of your whole screen to really make it a focal point. You can also use call outs to do this as well. If you go to the main site at Techsmith you can find video tutorials there showing how this is done.
I do not think You tube has a preferred file format as it accepts a number of those.
If you want to only use on your site then i would suggest the free FLOWPLAYER software.
I will try to add another video in a few days.
Cheers
